July 24 Update

A devotional I was reading this morning talked about how we as Christ followers can reflect the light of the Holy Spirit that lives within us. About 20 minutes later I got the mail and there was a card from someone that talked about how Kristi had been a light in their life. I don't think it is a coincidence that in a time in our lives that feels so dark…we are still reminded about the light. So much of Kristi's life has been about living in such a way to bring people out of darkness and into light. Hopefully some of you reading this blog can look back and remember a time that something that Kristi said, or shared, or did with you that brought a little bit more of the light into your life. And I know that even now she would remind you to go out and share that light with others. John 8:12 "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." Thanks for the prayers and encouraging notes. Love you guys!

God Bless,
Justin and Kristi

  1. Yes, what a special light Kristi has been to so many of us! As I sit here typing, I'm smiling as God reveals to me some of those special times of us gathering together and watching Kristi love up on all three of her boys! That includes you Justin! :) I'm remembering your wedding and the harp being played at your special kiss! How sweet and memorable! The courage she displayed when we went wig shopping. She looked beautiful in all of them! Sharing our delightful bubble tea with each other as she recovered from surgeries! Watching her beat me several times in 10 Days in Asia, with that cute little smile of hers! Yes, Jesus' light continues to shine through you even in the midst of your pain dear one! We love you and your family so much. Love, Nancy BB

I am feeling so inspired and hopeful by your beautiful words. Thanks to both of you for being so faithful. I see God smiling down on both of you saying, "Well done my good and faithful servants." Though Kristi will have the privilege to hear those words in person so much sooner than anyone would hope, I know God will say those words with a huge smile on his face.
Love back to you and your family.

  6. I once heard someone point out that there can't be shadows in the valley of death without LIGHT shining. So true! I'm grateful that you both know the LIGHT and that He will lead and guide you through this difficult time.
